Tearing Down The Old Temple
Let me begin by saying there is no such thing as death. There is only the balance of transition and this is the burning contradiction that breaks the connection between being present and the vulnerability of fulfilling the bodies life purpose. What is no longer useful to the world will pass on into the next dimension and that includes human life. At the pace we live at, stress causes tremendous problems on our nervous system. That is why the breath is so important. The breath of life is the greatest natural resource know to the human body. It nourishes our cells and tissues, bringing life back into our total being. Simple relaxation and deep breathing stimulates the vibration of the body, thus sealing the needed energy to help reset and rebuild the bodies full potential of mental, emotional, and physical performance. That is why old temples are being torn down. So it is far time that we begin to learn how to rebuild our temples one breath at a time.
From Home-Birthers to Spiritual Entrepreneurs
When my husband and I first decided to have a homebirth, seven years ago, we did not fully understand the process of familial transitions that we were about to undergo. Certain things were about to die… some of those things we were very passionate about. We really did not to plan for the transition from the regular lifestyle, we were accustomed to, so it was not easy. When we thought of traveling, visiting family and friends, or just spending time together, we were with our new baby and we needed more time. This meant that we had to stop making time and start managing our time for social equity. We were newly married, way from our parents, and winging the whole process of parenthood. So we tried to do a zillion things to make good on our commitments… My husband worked in theater and for #WellsFargo at the time and I owned and operated a natural hair salon by day and preformed at local venues by night. When we made up our minds to fully pursue our lives on purpose, we were introduced to abundance. Although this was awesome, we did not account for is the probability of time.
How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?
TRANSITION: Moving On Up To The East Side
After we made the move from the West Coast to the East Coast it was totally derived off of the spirit of our subconscious mind. We wanted to be where the sun rose instead of where it set. We had creative ambitions and felt that we were no longer thriving in the Valley of The Sun. Upon our move, we did not get that deluxe apartment in the sky, but we were in positive motion. Seeing different faces everywhere, tall colorful trees, and in the Spring the ferocious green monster (pollen) would attack our sinus. It was a beautiful shift in culture, experience, and environment. After an emotional miscarriage, with our second baby, prior to our move to Georgia, we knew that we had to come to present, take mental notes, and feel what out bodies were speaking to us. Now after a record total of three successful homebirths, we found our mental niche. Our family tradition became our business. We had a 96% success rate and the other 4% was transitional favor.
Having a strong team working together at the very thing that we do best, which is being creative, making babies, and self expression, became our ministry of expertise. After the epiphany we had with the birth our our last son, we felt charged to assist other women and families, through our learned experiences. We soon embarked on a life of self-directed apprenticeships and disciplines. After studying with various universities, professionals, and coaching methodologies, reading book after book, and still reading, we found something very important — All of the theories were just as experienced based as our concepts and most were around medical reinterpretations. Some were spiritually divine, but still to the writers interpretation. We quickly realized that we had something to offer that we had not yet seen because, we had not yet produced it. So we channeled the balance between what we had experienced, and what we had learned about those experiences, into the services that we offer today called, “The BOSS Method.”
Re-birthing Mother Nature’s Undisturbed Intent
The simplicity of childbirth is not commonly spoken of as a free, non-medical experience. Majority of the time when we tell people that we homebirth, they start saying things like, “Ut un… you brave”, “You didn’t have no medicine”, “Naw I couldn’t do that.” We smile and reply, why not? Then we get a laundry list of reasons that were really out of lack of information, fear, and/or limited access to information. Most of the reasons were generational jargon passed down from the societal transitions of natural childbirth. Some were because of the idea that homebirth had a hefty expense. Others were because, they simply did not know they had the option to deliver outside of the institution of medicine legally.
Some women share that they would have opted for homebirth if they would have know they could. Some women become frustrated because, they felt the option was hidden from them. Others felt tricked into inductions and surgical birth. This is where it get’s complicated. As I recall my first initial prenatal visit, and I was immediately told, that I would most likely have to deliver surgically because, my hips were so small. That was an immediate red flag for me and I knew that I had to make the decision to birth the way I wanted NOT the way I was profiled. Luckily the desire to Birth Like A BOSS was already in our cards. This is why my husband and I knew that we had to strategically get the word out to the community of those seeking an alternative to what they had been made to believe.

Summonsing Your Own Unique Truth
It really all begins with what you think about childbirth that sets the tone for how you will deliver. But let me get one thing clear… It is not the conscious mind that controls this process, but the subconscious mind that you have to learn how to navigate. The conscious mind is a remarkable thing, but there’s a whole other level of awareness that, when tapped, can greatly expand your abilities and allow you to achieve your goals in childbirth –and in life itself.
The subconscious mind has the ability to change your entire life around, if you know how to use it. Here are 9 steps that my husband and I exercise in order to build up our power of the Universe within and without. This includes thoughts, emotions, actions, and reactions.
STEP 1 : Practice “Stream of Consciousness” Journaling. Get a journal. Pick a nice pen to write with. Set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write whatever comes immediately to mind, continuing writing until the time is up no matter how dull, strange, weird, or whatever it sounds. Although at first this will channel your conscious mind, it will bring up unconscious thoughts. Have patience. Writing, at first, will be difficult but, with practice, becomes rather easy.
STEP 2 : Learn to meditate. There are many methods of meditation but all deal with focusing the mind, quieting it, and allowing you to harness it. Choose whichever appeals to you and be sure to practice daily, if only for a few minutes.
STEP 3 : Learn about the subconscious. The more you learn about the human mind, the more you can use it to enhance your life. Take coursework in psychology. Read The Four Agreements. Pray and/or create positive affirmations.
STEP 4 : Practice positive self talk. If you say to yourself, “I can’t do this, I’m going to fail,” you will fail. However, if you say, “I can do this. I know I can!,” you’re more likely to succeed. This process is known as “affirmation“.
STEP 5 : Visualize. This is one of the most significant keys to success. Actively picturing yourself achieving a goal will help you actually achieve it.
STEP 6 : Study briefly just before bedtime. This is especially helpful for things that require memorization. If you review the development of your baby, your positive words vocabulary list, or your homebirth play book just before sleeping, your subconscious will likely process it throughout the night for you.
STEP 7 : Pay attention to your dreams. Your deeper mind will sometimes try to sort out your life issues through dreams. If you pay attention to them, write them down immediately, and reflect on it, you may get insight to the problem at hand and this can help your transition though that particular issue.
STEP 8 : Listen to your intuition. Your intuition is a way your mind has of warning you of dangers or enlightening you to opportunities before your conscious mind has all the information. If you get a “red flag” feeling about a person or situation, do listen. This is often a key step in avoiding tragic opposition.
STEP 9 : Use different methods to develop your subconscious mind. Guessing things will help a lot. Just try to listen to your intuition and make predictions. Use different tools, for example Lumosity offers brain stimulating games and other cool mind enhancement tools. This also opens subconscious parts of your mind.
CONCLUDING THOUGHT
Any negative thoughts that you come up with should be removed, or replaced IMMEDIATELY. These negative thoughts are blocks on your subconscious and they prevent you from getting what you want. Negative thoughts are tied to strongly held beliefs – which further limit your success that are born out of fear. This combination of negative thinking and limiting beliefs lead to opposition and failure. The longer you hang on to them the worse your situation gets.
So what do you do?
BOSS Up! Change your mind, surrounding attitude NOW! Get rid of the mental baggage as quickly as possible.
Create thoughts that empower you, thoughts that allow you to succeed and enjoy your now life.
Negative thoughts and negative beliefs create a negative a life. They destroy any chance of successful outcomes.
You cannot succeed and enjoy life with chronic negative thinking or being around people who entertain negativity in any way. They are energy suckers.
Remember, your subconscious mind follows your thoughts and beliefs. It sees them as instructions and simply follows them. It creates your life based on your thoughts and beliefs. Your life is really a mirror of your thoughts and beliefs.
