The InTune Mother Society™️ is a leading-edge community-based training organization that aims to provide educational TEKnology through a replicable workforce innovation opportunity. Our Pathways Program is focused on training Perinatal Wellness Coaches®️ through Healing Justice practices that exist to reclaim ownership of the Black childbearing body. The InTune Mother School of Perinatal Health™️ is an online LIVE transformative approach to the way Black and Indigenous communities connect to Holistic Family Planning options.

We work through an intentional lens of healing justice, by identifying the need to offer innovative ways and solutions to support historically excluded childbearing populations. In doing so we have designed this program to model a holistically responsive approach to ecological family planning to intervene in the structural violence and trauma to bring collective practices that can impact and transform the consequences of oppression to the culture, heritage, traditions, bodies, hearts, and minds as it relates to community-based care. We believe our approach to TEK-based education can impact the perinatal stages of wellness through Preconception, Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, Birth, Postpartum, and the ability to Parent in a mentally sound and sustainable way. At The InTune Mother Society™️, we believe that it is the right of every birthing family to have culturally sound support and education from preconception throughout the primal continuum of human development.

Overview of the Pathways Program

This (12-month) community-based course is for individuals with a passion for working with families to help them navigate their options for preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting + mental health. Whether you are already familiar with the field of reproductive health, maternal and child health, mental health, case management, or community health work. Enrollees in this program want to increase their knowledge and impact regarding perinatal health in underrepresented communities or seek a new career path. This training opportunity will take you on a journey of exploring the complex problems that surround the use of community-based family planning models and how to start thinking about solutions through the practice and healing justice.

This community-based training will debunk common assumptions around what resources are needed to begin acting as a workforce innovator for reproductive health promotion. We will learn from the numerous examples of perinatal art practices and innovations happening all over the world, with a mission to make holistic family planning services equitable and accessible for all. You will be challenged to get out of your comfort zone and start engaging with the diverse spaces around you. By the end of the training, you will have formed a collective approach to reproductive health innovation through job creation, while leading with Perinatal Wellness Coaching® through community health promotion and prevention. Thus you will develop the concepts, mindset skills, and relationships that will enable you to sustain a movement and evolve as a community-centered, reproductive health care provider and change maker.
