I’ve always loved the symbolism behind being a well rounded woman. It is something simple yet so profound in being The Mother of Civilization. In this circle we are holding a greater, deeper meaning, in the circle of life, while creating a long lasting sisterhood. Motherhood brings with it a feeling that can create balance, harmony, and liberation. Since a circle is never-ending and rests in the Divine Feminine, we honor each other, while also holding space to unify with the Infinite Masculine.
We chose the name Motherhood Circle to complement our women’s health and reproductive education project in Oklahoma City, Spring 2017. I’ve been involved in the ever changing childbirth community for over 10 years now and as I continued to meditate on concepts of expansion for our business, I kept visualizing circles. Sacred geometry, wisdom circles, children, fathers within their own circles, supporting themselves and honoring their women.
A circle is 360 degrees. There is no beginning and no end It is an infinite cycle. It is birth, and death, and rebirth. Motherhood is not just about birth, it is both a new beginning and a transition into the old. Motherhood connects us all to the beginning of humanity as a Rites of Passage. We hold true to the five elements, ether, air, fire, water, and earth. These are circulatory connections to our alignment to balance the art of being healers, seers, teachers, and guide, through healing touch, compassion, and intuition. This is how we restore wellness to ourselves and to others, during the changes of the Moon, the spinning of the Earth, and passing away of time into infinity.
In the this group we take a deeper journey into the privilege of Motherhood. Our circle is designed to create unity, strength, protection, infinity, spirituality, wholeness, completion, sisterhood, friendship, and infinite love.
A circle is more than a symbol. It is a movement. Welcome to The Motherhood Circle.
